Dear Kids Time,
How are you? I am good. I share Jesus by doing the Sabbath School lesson for kindergarten beginner once in a while with felts. Once I made my own people felts and then also used some ather professiony made felts from the store. I have done the Sabbath School lesson 2 times now. I enjoy doing it as much as the kids enjoy seeing it.
Hannah D. age 9

Hi! My name is Tatelynn.  On December 9, 2009, my family and I landed in Iquitos, Peru to be missionaries for at least one year.  We are living on the donations people give us.  We have been doing lots of projects around here.  Such as: Building floating boats for people who have to live on the water; visiting people; handing out Steps to Christ (in spanish); and mostly just smiling and saying, 'God Bless' to the people we pass on the streets.   Recently we went to a crippled girls house named Jasemine.  She is, sadly, crippled and blind.  All day long she lies on her board bed.  Because her family does not have enough money to buy mattress' so they buy the bed and boards.  So, my family got her a mattress and a pillow.  Even though she could not see her gift, I know she was overjoyed, by her smile.  I like being here in Iquitos helping people, because I like to see the results of everything we do.  I love being a missionary!

Your Missionary Friend-

CONGRATULATIONS NAOMI! -
FIRST PLACE

Dear Miss Brenda,

I am 12 and love missions. When I was six, I felt that God wanted me to be a missionary. I formerly lived in Montana, and wish to be a missionary there, and in Alaska, someday in the future, but I wanted to do something now. So I started a mission club. My dream was to have people to share my hopes and dreams about missions with, and to do mission projects with.

The requirements to enter this club are that you must be between the ages of eight and sixteen, you must be a Seventh-day Adventist, and you must have an interest for missions.

Currently, we have about eleven members in four different states- Oregon, Montana, Wisconsin, and Florida. The members range from the age of about nine to sixteen, with the majority of the members being girls.
Each month, I send out “starter sheets,” a short brochure with ideas on how to witness. I also send out updates and letters, and am in the process of sending out a newsletter and directory that will help the members to better relate to each other and work together.

We recently started the “Mission Sticker Station,” an incentive for members to witness. We have prizes, such as crayons, tracts, Hot Wheels, pencils, and mini notebooks, that the members can earn if they witness or work on their projects. Projects include raising money for ADRA, singing at the nursing home, and giving Real magazine, Guides outreach magazine, to non-adventist friends.

My sister, Hannah, holding up a puppet she made for a cloth puppet show in the Beginner Sabbath School Class.

Currently, we have several members making cards for the sick, discouraged, etc, one member working on decorating puppets for children in the hospital, and one member singing at the nursing home. Recently, the Vice President earned some money to help victims of the Haiti earthquake. Last year, a couple of us from the club were able to donate some money to help another member in purchasing Bibles for Africa. And several years ago, coordinator Karen Durtka, was able to raise about $100 for ADRA! The progress in the club is exciting.

Over the years, I have been tempted to give up many times. But when I almost let it drop, God seems to whisper, “Keep going!” Then I am always encouraged when I see my friends getting involved in the club. Recently, my best friend, Kellie (the Vice President of the club), wrote a touching letter to the members after the earthquake in Haiti. She is four years older and has helped in many, many ways, many, many times. I don't know what I would do with out her! Also, my sister Hannah and my other best friend, Karen, have provided a lot of encouragement and information. My friend Eliana has also proved to be a great blessing to the club. The FMC has really turned out to be worth it.

So, that is my witnessing experience. Today my greatest desire is,and will always be, to witness for Jesus, and to share my witnessing experience with everyone who will listen. I want to make workers. I want to work for Him!

God bless your work at 3ABN!

Love, Naomi
Chandler R. B. And I'm a missonary in Peru I share Jesus by passing out baskets of supplys needed for other people. And I have a friend that comes over and we do Bible studdies with them. And also we through books on the side walk people read them. Bye.

Dear Miss Brenda,

We are Jackie and Joel V.  We are 6 year old twins.  We are in Kindergarten.  Our school (Ionia SDA Elementary School) goes to the nursing home once a month.  When we go there, we sing songs about Jesus to the residents there.  Some of the songs we sing are: Sweet Bye and Bye, Amazing Grace, I'm gonna Sing, Sometimes we sing as a group and sometimes we sing solo's.  We also read or recite poems and tell jokes.  Some of the other kids from our school play the piano, too.

Our Adventurer Club likes to make things to give to the residents who live there.  We have given them vases that we made and painted.  We made little cards that had the serenity prayer on them (we drew pictures on the back).  We also gave them Christmas ornaments in December.  The last time we went, one lady was so happy, she gave us each a stuffed animal from her room.  We also say a prayer at the end.

We love sharing Jesus!

Hello Ms. Brenda,

How are you? I am doing great.
I wanted to tell you how I share Jesus. I vist the nursing home with my family. My mom, sisters and I sing and I play the paino and my dad preaches. We are also involved in the health ministry. We are doing cooking class seminars and we are going to have a health fair later this year. I help distribute flyers and I help with the recipes by putting everything in a bowl.

We moved to New Mexico in Novemeber, but when we lived in maryland I helped dish out food for the homeless as well as making the food. I also passed out literatire to many people. My sister gave this man some food for hime and some food for the dog.

I love sharing Jesus,

Dear Miss Brenda,

My name is Lily.  I am 6 years old.  To share Jesus I sing about Jesus and tell my brother Ian all about Jesus and heaven.  I try and always share Jesus' love.  Some other things I have done to share Jesus this past year are:

Last summer I picked sweet corn on my grandpas farm and sold it.  I gave lots of the money to buying the 'Adra Kids Boxes' to help people with emergencies, eduation and health.  I also sent some money to you for Kids time, bought 4 new testiment Bibles for kids through Samaratins Purse and gave money at my church for missions.

At Christmas time I went with my homeshool group and sang Christmas Hymns at a nursing home.  The people really liked seeing all of us.

I share Jesus with my neighbors by taking them cookies sometimes.

Every Wednesday I go to a community service center in our community and help my mom sort clothes for people who need them.  I have also given some of my corn and allowance money to the center so that people can have help with rent and utility payments when they need.

At Halloween last year I collected 112 cans/boxes for the food bank.  I also gave half my candy to the food bank.

Sometimes we make bread or cookies and take them to people who need encouragement.

I help take care of my brother when my parents are cooking breakfast at church or doing other things.  He likes it when I read stories to him.

CONGRATULATIONS LAINI -
THIRD PLACE

Hi, This is Laini Shabo, I am 8 years old and this is what my mommy did for my girls just want to have fun party with theme being love and friendship.  I will let her tell the rest of the story since she can type better then me. .

For my daughters valentine party also called the "girls just want to have fun" party, we had 18 girls over.  The theme was Love and friendship.  Every game was centered around friendship and how to be a good loving friend.  The favorite event of the day was the prayer pals.  I had bought 18 little plush stuffed animals and made collars and name tags for each one of them.  On each name tag was the name of one of the 18 girls at the party.   I put them in a basket and had each girl reach in and grab a pet (stuffed animal).  Whoever they picked they had to promise to pray for that friend every time they played with, looked at or held their "pal."  As a reminder I wrote out a poem about the prayer pals that encouraged them to pray for their friend.

We have included a picture of all the girls holding their prayer pals.  We are also in the process of making a prototype prayer pal and making this something that can be purchased in stores :)  It is a big task but Lord willing we will have a great product for kids and even adults to utilize as a reminder to pray for our friends.

We would love to share our poem and our story with you.

Thank you and many blessing!!

And I share Jesus by having my bible club every Sabbath afternoon, I hand out fliers around my neighborhood and kids that don't know about God come and I teach them about God and how many wondrous miracles God performed and how he sent his son Jesus to die on the cross for us. Someone actually got baptized because of me! I think its pretty cool to be the one to tell a person about Jesus. I feel really proud and I know Jesus is proud of me too! I think everyone deserves second chances. I pray for many people in my bible club get baptized . and so I'll teach them to be ready when Jesus comes. I'm Melanie T. and I love Jesus !

Dear Kids Time, A few months ago my family packed bags of some homemade whole wheat sticks, an apple, and Steps to Christ books with a little money in them for the homeless. One time when we gave a bag the man was very thankful, and when he received it he put it up in the air and it looked like he was thanking Jesus, and he didn’t even know what was in the bag. I hope he read the book and will become a Christian.

Dear Ms. Brenda,
I share Jesus by memorizing Bible scriptures and hymnal songs which tell about Jesus. Since I was 2 yrs old have memorized Lords' prayer and now I am 6 yr old. I have memorized 10 commandments(full version), books of the Bible, memory verses in the booklet 1 and 2 of Kids time Bible lessons and other scriptures which tell about Sabbath, state of the dead, second coming, our origin and so on. I am still working on others. I tell that to my Grandpa who is not a Christian yet. He refuses to hear about Jesus. But he never says no when I start telling verses and sing hymnal songs from memory. I also pray for him. He used to eat meat and now he became a vegetarian. Please pray that he will soon give his heart to Jesus. I go to nursing homes and sing songs to elderly. I share Jesus with my 2 yr old brother by teaching him felt Bible stories everyday.

Dear Kids Time,
I share Jesus by writing stories about troubles that I have had in the passed. Eventually I am going to put them all into a book and give it to people who are having a hard time. I want them to know that others have had troubles to and that God can see them through. I also share Jesus by telling my cousins the reason we go to church on sabbath and invite them to camp meeting I am glad that this year they are going to come to Oklahoma Family Camp. I also Pray for people.
Thank you all for kids time.

Greetings

I am writing on behalf of a little girl who shares about Jesus to others.
Her name is Kimberley and she is three years old.  She goes globe trotting
with a group of missionaries NAPS (National Association for the Prevention
of Starvation).  She can sing songs most of which are in her mother tongue
Shona and Come we that Love the Lord.

She takes part in the skits that are performed by the group and when it is
time for children's stories she remembers some of the memory verses and
recites and she sings some of the children's songs.

Kim goes for bible studies and upon encourgament can tell the other
children older than her the memory verse taht they would learn for the
day.

I will try to upload her photo and send it to you soon.

Sarah B and Shasta
Hi! My name is Sarah B. and I am 14 years old. Our family owns a Border Collie named Shasta . We occasionally have a litter of puppies with her, and when they were old enough to be sold, we put out an ad for them. I wanted to be a witness to everyone whom I came in contact with, and this seemed like a great opportunity. From the vet we had gotten some little packets in which we could note the vaccinations and weights and dates and things for the puppies, but the packets also had a little pocket in one side. Into this pocket we would put literature, sometimes to send in for free Bible Studies, or maybe a booklet about the Bible. One day a lady called us concerning the puppies for sale, and, as I was talking to her, she related to me that the real reason she wanted to get a new puppy was because her old dog was dying of cancer. "Oh," I said, "would you like me to pray for your dog?" She seemed kind of surprised but answered thankfully, "Oh, would you do that for me please?" I assured her that I would. A couple of days later, she emailed me that her dog had passed away. Then I was able to comfort her with some scriptures verses and kind words. And so I hope that I can reach many people that come to me for puppies and plant seeds in their hearts.
